North Carolina will soon have a new and improved driver’s license and it’s going 3D. The DMV is adding the special feature to driver’s licenses in 2012.
If you don’t like your driver’s license photo now, wait until you see it in 3D. The DOT says it will also be more durable. Each card will cost the DOT just over $2.
They say the existing budget will cover that cost.
