Amanda Bowman is an immigrant to the United States from Great Britain. Her professional career in New York spans working in senior positions for The Economist, Christie's, Hill & Knowlton and Ogilvy Public Relations.
Amanda has worked in the national security policy arena since 2001 when she organized the first national conference "Preserving an Open Society in an Age of Terror" the first time the issue of balancing public safety and civil liberties was dressed in a public forum.
Amanda is currently New York Director of the Center for Security Policy, a privately-funded organization whose mission is to promote peace through American strength.
