Arkansas House Bill No. 1978, AN ACT TO PROVIDE VOLUTARY ALTERNATIVE DRIVER’S LICENSES AND IDENTIFICATION CARDS FOR ENHANCED DENTIFICATION AND SECURITY PURPOSES

Dear Mr. Munns:
Thank you for supporting Arkansas House Bill No. 1978, introduced by Representative John Edwards. HB 1978 addresses many common sense changes that will improve the security of the Arkansas driver’s license and identification card issuance process. It is of paramount importance to the economic and national security of the United States that a driver’s license accurately conveys the identity of the individual presenting it. HB 1978 will reduce the risk of driver’s license and identity card fraud in Arkansas.
